BREAKFAST AT BRAEWOOD
As the sun comes up over the lake your day begins with either Dominican or Cuban coffee served on the deck. Mike brings the coffee
beans back from the Caribbean each year. This will be followed by a continental breakfast which includes orange juice, a selection of cold cereals, fresh baked muffins. toast and jams and fruit. You will not leave the table hungry. Guaranteed.
DINING OUT IN MUSKOKA
In the last few years, dining in Muskoka has changed drastically. There
are now many excellent restaurants with a wide variety of menus
including seafood, Italian, steakhouse etc. Many of these restaurants are
within 10 - 15 minutes of Braewood - The Compleat Angler, Rebecca's
and Kirrie Glenn to name a few. You don't have to drive far from Braewood
for a great meal. And better still, the best restaurants are all rated casual
fine dining so you don't have to dress up - even shorts are OK. Of course
there are many pubs, roadhouses and lunch spots in the area as well.
You can even paddle from Braewood to a nearby restaurant.
We have most of the restaurant menus here at Braewood for you to
browse through when you arrive. Reservations are recommended
especially on weekends and we'd be happy to make reservations for you.
The Decadent Dining Experience
A private float plane will arrive to pick up you up (we can make it a surprise
if you want). You'll board the plane from our dock, take off and fly over the
Muskoka Lakes up to Parry Sound. Your pilot, Dean Mortimer, will point
out the different lakes, towns and landmarks along the way. You will then
head out over Georgian Bay where and then land at an island for a 'catch
of the day' dinner at Henry's Fish Restaurant. After dinner you'll then fly
back to Braewood as the sun is settling over the horizon. A memorable
