Susan
E. Eck, a poet and lyricist, writes under the
pseudonym "Michaela More". She expresses
herself using the spoken word in poetry and
lyrics. In developing her song writing, Susan
became very aware of its distinctive character.
She found the unique properties of storytelling in
her lyrics. She realized her potential with the
help of music collaborators, such as Steve
Wingfield, Judy Lam, and Gord Lemon. She
knew she could produce a finished song.
Since 1999, her primary focus has been to hone her
skills and establish her name in the industry. She
discovered that when she started with one of her
poems and a story line, she could develop a song
into a finished composition. The power of song
writing touched her in a way she never realized
before. Her passion grew for musical arrangements
and words that would touch the hearts and spirit
of the listeners.
Today,
her lyrics drive the musical arrangement of the
song. Her commitment and focus have led her to
write and produce the following tunes;
"Somewhere Inside", "When Your Heart Feels
Weak", "Dance With Me", and
"Finally Over You". She still works
toward her own dream, and continues to make major
contributions to the creation of other song
writers' dreams. Lyrics have always been Susan's
gift and strength.
