Biography 

Susan E. Eck was born and raised in Toronto, Canada.
She moved to Muskoka in order to immerse herself in her artwork. She is predominantly a self-taught artist who successfully completed professional development art classes at The Ontario College of Art and Design.

Susan has a unique way of capturing and representing on canvas the beauty of our natural environment. Her interpretation brings you into the painting and carries you away to that place. Her technique aligns with the subject matter, allowing the viewer to be fully captivated by all dimensions of the painting. Susan uses a full palette of rich colour in her artwork. Combining brush strokes, using oil, acrylic and mixed media, and simple themes, she aims to evoke a strong emotional message in her landscape paintings.
