Parry Sound District - April 28/29, 2001
A female Yellow-headed blackbird was at Hurdville on April 28 and 29, 2001. Hurdsville is approximately 20 km. east of Parry Sound on McDougall Rd. It was with a flock of cowbirds, starlings and grackles staying at a feeder for a while then moved to a nearby field returning occasionally for corn. This may be the first record for the district. Found by June Gardner.
