The resources contained in these databases, which includes Chilton’s Auto Repair Library, Grzimek's Animal Life, Home Improvement Collection, Culinary Arts Collection, Nursing and Allied Health Collection, to name but a few of the hundreds of collections available, will provide access to information that is needed every day by individual Ontarians and students of all ages. The resources and materials go well beyond what is available on the Internet offering full text of newspapers, magazines and books. Access to these databases will be available from wherever people are in Ontario; at home, work, or school. The variety of information to be found in the databases will satisfy the youngest school child, the researcher in a University lab, in fact any citizen of Ontario. Users authenticated on a library system through the web will have access to the astonishing range of information to be found in the databases. Users will be asked for their 14 digit library card barcode.

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of TumbleBooks – animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.

TumbleReadables is an online collection of read-along titles for elementary to high school students which features adjustable online text and complete audio narration. Sentences are highlighted as they are being read and the pages turn automatically. The collection features chapter books, early readers, YA/Teen Novels, high interest/low level books for both elementary school and high school students, plus classics of American and English literature.
Read-Alongs are great for emergent, struggling, and reluctant readers, as well as being an excellent tool for ESL. They are also well received by strong and accomplished readers who are excited to follow along to the narration of their favourite books.
